Meet the founder

Wellnessphorea didn't begin with an event—it began with my own wellness journey.

Over the past six years, I've naturally lost more than 70 pounds, completely changing my relationship with movement, nutrition, and what it means to care for myself. Along the way, I discovered that wellness isn't about chasing perfection—it's about finding the practices that make you feel strong, confident, and fully alive.

Today, you'll usually find me training for my next challenge. I'm proudly a hybrid girlie, balancing strength training, running, Pilates, yoga, and HYROX—the global fitness race that completely transformed the way I think about movement. Crossing my first HYROX finish line reminded me that our bodies are capable of so much more than we often believe.

But my wellness journey extends far beyond fitness.

For the past 11 years, therapy has been one of the most meaningful investments I've made in myself. It has shaped how I navigate life, relationships, and resilience, and it reinforced something I now believe deeply: wellness isn't just physical—it's emotional, mental, and deeply personal.

I'm equally passionate about skincare, beauty rituals, recovery, and creating moments of rest. Those everyday practices have taught me that wellness isn't reserved for one hour in the gym; it's woven into how we care for ourselves every single day.

That realization became the foundation for Wellnessphorea.

I created Wellnessphorea to give Black women greater access to wellness in all its forms—from movement and recovery to beauty, mental health, community, and joyful discovery. My hope is that every experience introduces someone to a new ritual, a new practice, or a new way of caring for themselves that they carry with them long after the event ends.

Professionally, I've spent more than a decade helping some of the world's most recognized brands build meaningful connections with their communities. Throughout my career—including my work with Google and leading social and influencer strategy for global brands—I learned the power of creating experiences that people don't just attend, but truly remember.

Now, I'm bringing that same intentionality to Wellnessphorea.

Because I believe wellness should be more than a routine.

It should be an experience.

It should feel joyful.

It should feel restorative.

And above all, it should feel euphoric.
